Meet Lynéa Zaborowski: cello educator at Winchester Stage Music Center
Lynéa Zaborowski is a performing musician specializing in voice and cello. Lynéa’s musical background includes classical (opera, bel canto, etc), choral, musical theatre, and gospel. She has also studied cello for over 20 years with experience in solo, chamber, and orchestral playing. She received her formal education at The New England Conservatory’s Preparatory School, The Handel & Haydn Society’s Vocal Apprenticeship Program, and Berklee College of Music.
Lynéa is also the mother of three children and loves creating a fun, engaging environment for even the youngest budding musicians. She has seen the cognitive, emotional, and physical benefits of music in her own children and has a passion for sharing those benefits with other families around her community.
Lynéa teaches with a desire to help each student fall in love with music. She nurtures the student’s emotional and technical understanding of music through ear-training, sight-reading, and music theory. By utilizing classical music as a foundation to teach technique she can strengthen any style and help students of any age reach their potential.
